After Thanksgiving last year, my brother told us that we're going to Las Vegas the next day! I was so excited that time because it was my first time going there. My sister-in-law's relatives went too as well as their kids. My brother decided to rent a van so all of us will fit on just one car. The next day, we need to wake up as early at 4am in the morning so that we can reach Vegas early. We were in the car for 5 hours until we reach Circus Circus, the hotel we will be staying in for 2 days and 2 ½ nights. After unloading all our bags in our room and took some hour to rest, we ate dinner at the buffet inside the hotel. Hungry or should I say starving we double step our walk to go down but when we got there the line was long and we need to wait for like 5-10 minutes. As soon as we got inside and had secured chairs for all of us, we went straight to the buffet and search for food. I must say, all of the food being displayed really looks tasty.
When all of us were full we went out and got ready for a long walk. It was really a long walk, from Circus Circus to Bellagio was like 2.2 miles away (Google maps said so). But that walk was fun, not that much tiring because we were a lot. It was evening that time so the breeze was really cold but wasn’t able to feel it cause of that walk. We had several stops because some scenes were really good and have to take pictures as a memory (aside from mental photography). We pass by a lot of exquisite hotels until we reach the Treasure Island. A lot of people were waiting in front of it and the reason is that there was going to be a performance. We took the opportunity to wait too so that we can watch the show. After 15 minutes or so, they started the show. As far as I can remember I think it’s about these pirates a girl vs. boy version and it was awesome! It was really cool! There were water and fire explosives everywhere and I bet the people who were close were slightly wet. After the show we moved on and walk again. Not that far already until we reach the Bellagio. I really want to watch the dancing fountain because I heard it is really thrilling to watch. So as soon as we get there we waited patiently and to kill the time and not to feel bored, we took some pictures and then I saw this robot/mannequin/street act guy. I took a picture with him and then after that the dancing fountain started. The fountain was dancing and synchronizing with the music was really cool! I think it lasted for 2-4 minutes, I lost count of time because it was really beautiful.
After the Bellagio, we started to walk back to the hotel. When we got there we split up, the adults will go to the casino and we kids will be on the arcades. After spending some time and money at the arcade area, due to tiredness we went back to our room and went to sleep. The next morning same thing happened, we ate breakfast at the same buffet, we went to stroll again but this time we rode on the van. We went to Freemont Street, since it’s still early for the lights unfortunately we weren’t able to witness it. We stayed there for a couple of hours and then went back again to the hotel. The adults went back again to the casino and us kids went to Adventuredome. I’m a fan of extreme rides so I didn’t hesitate to try all the rides.
When we already satisfied ourselves, we went back to our hotel room, rest and for dinner we went out and ate on this Filipino restaurant. We went back to the hotel again, still tired but we already have to pack our stuff because in the early morning around 3am we’re leaving Vegas and need to go back home.
How fun! I've never been to vegas, but hopefully for my 21st bday I will get a chance to go! =) Looks like alot of fun.
