[Blog #5] Asians Overload!

Last October 1, me and my friends went to this concert in Queen Mary, Long Beach. It's a yearly concert called International Secret Agents produce by Far East Movement and Wong Fu Productions. It's actually an Asian Community concert and the performers are all famous Youtubers consist of singers and vlogger/comedians. On the performers list wereafterschoolspecial, Clara C, Tim Delaghetto, IAMME crew, Dumbfounded, AJ Rafael, David Choi, Jay Park, Wong Fu Productions and many more hosted by Kevin Jumba, Cathy Nguyen and Ryan Higa. But the much awaited performance of the night was Far East Movement,

We arrived in Queen Mary around 12 noon and as expected the line was already long. We waited for one hour under the heated sun then they opened the gates. When we got inside there were a lot of merchandise booths and food trucks around. We first roamed the venue and looked on what we can buy. I bought David Choi's album and a sticker since its cheaper than buying it online. After that, went near the stage because the concert was about to start. Though we don't know the first act performers, we still stayed to save our spot; it's a open, standing concert that's why. It was really hot but me and my friends are willing to stay there, standing until 9 in the evening. Around 3 o'clock when we totally started enjoying the concert, excuses to the first 3. Clara C serenaded us with her songs. Aside from her good voice, she's really pretty! After her Tim Delaghetto, this guy have kinda dirty videos on youtube, but he is a funny Asian. He sang his song "Hey Selana Gomez" and "First Asian Boy". After him was I.AM.ME but before them, Ryan Higa and Kev Jumba had a short skit of BEST CREW (link!). During the skit, Kev Jumba's dad appeared on the stage and battled them two and in the end Papa Jumba won! Right after, IAMME performed and they are really AMAZING! They really deserve the title "America's Best Dance Crew". B.O.B was also part of the act; he had the longest act so I don’t want to elaborate. He’s good though and made us sing to his rap songs.

After having the first acts, they gave us a 30minute break. Anyone who want to used the rest room, or buy food because it was almost dinner and another reason is that there will be no more breaks after. So we decided to buy some food, but when we got at the food truck the line was so long. When we're near the counter, suddenly they introduce DUMBFOUNDED. My friend and I don't have any other choice but to go back instead. Dumbfounded was amazing! His videos on youtuber were dope but watching him live was sick! Amazing rapper! After headbanging our head from Dumb's performance, AJ Rafael serenaded us with his mellow love songs. He's a Filipino, I'm a Filipino, I'm super proud for him #FILIPINOPRIDE. He's a down to earth guy who's dream is just to sing/compose songs that can inspire people who can hear it. And here's one of his popular song.

I was about to cry when he started singing but i had to let it in and control myself. What added to my controlled emotion was when it's David Choi's turn. It was getting dark and they started giving light sticks. So while David was singing, every one was waving their sticks and singing along with the song. It was really sensational, I'm watching live 2 of my favorite singers on Youtube! After them was Wong Fu Productions; honestly they don't sing nor dance, they jsut make videos, EPIC VIDEOS. They are really popular creating and producing great videos on Youtube. They're really cool! Then it was Jay Park's turn. Jay is a popular Korean singer/rapper. He was also one of the reason why i desperately want to go to on this concert. He's handsome*great abs*, good singing voice, and a bboy! He's a great dancer!

After Jay's performance was he much awaited performance of the night. FAR EAST MOVEMENT came out on the stage and it was rockafella fun! I feel like I'm on a party not a concert! They brought the house down! It was crazy and they made me loose my voice. They performed really cool! I was really having great time the whole performance. When they were done, though we want more, we'll just need to wait for next year again. My friend and I decided to go home already because we were already tired and hungry. Another excuse to Sean Kingston, but we are not interested on watching him anymore.

It was epic and fun! I can't wait for another ISA next year!
